I was really annoyed with the tiny handles some of these cheap screwdrivers come with, so I decided to make new, proper ones.

Print Settings
  • Brim recommended
  • Layer height 0.2mm (anything more gave me trouble in the bottom 45° overhang - edges curled up)
  • I added a modifier block in PrusaSlicer, in the lower part of the print where the shaft sits, to bump up the shell thickness significantly. I recommend you either do that or print everything with high shell thickness.

Files for 2, 3, 4 and 5 mm shafts are included, for other sizes it was intended to be modified by you in Fusion 360 to your required dimensions. However, Fusion does not allow this in the free version anymore as far as I can tell. You could scale it in the slicer instead.

Assembly

Heat the end of the shaft with a lighter for a good number of seconds and quickly press it in. Mine didn't come out perfectly straight but they are firmly attached and work great.

Don't screw this up :)
