Use case

Attaching a convex analog humidity sensor/hygrometer inside of e.g. a filament dry box. These sensors need to have an open back to display correct values so gluing them on their back is not useful.

Customize the design

You can simply scale the model to accomodate the size of your specific sensor. Just make sure the sensor can rest on the inner, narrow lip of the mount.

Print instructions

No supports needed. Optionally sand the small top pins with sandpaper to increase hot glue adhesion. Can be quickly printed in draft modes.

Mounting the bracket

  1. If the sensor wiggles when placed into the mount, then glue the sensor to the brackets' inner lip, else just place it into the bracket
  2. Add hot glue to the four stand offs (in case you're using it in a heated dry box like e.g. Sunlu: check your hot glue stick manufacturer for heat resistance information, e.g. 3M)
  3. Press the bracket against the inner side of your transparent box
  4. It's easy to detach the four hot glue points in case the sensor needs to be replaced
