The great Skadis spool holders originally required some bearing and steel rod.
I decided to design and print some different shafts that can be used.
I have redesigned this to have a shared shaft with only two separate caps. One cap is for installation with a 608 bearing. This cap has a half threaded shaft to screw in each end with a head small enough not to interfere with the bearing, but large enough to constrain the ends.
The other cap has a circular block to replace the 608 bearing if you don't have them. I've printed these and even without bearings seem to spin freely enough to serve as a rolling production holder.
Printed on Ender 6, Biqu H2, PLA+, 0.16 Layer Height. Prints do not require support.
