UPDATED 03/16/2024: The top screen catch would sometimes get pulled down and didn't do the best job with the style of screen that we have, so it was redesigned to be a two part assembly. Uses an M4 nut and M4 x 15mm screw to hold it all together. Held to the fireplace with 3M VHB tape.

My toddler liked to pull down the fireplace screen so I made an upper and lower catch to hold the screen in place. The lower holder has a removeable piece so the screen can be removed as-needed. #4-40 hardware was used to hold the lower portion together. The #4 nut drops into place and then a 1-½" screw holds it in place. The upper catch was positioned so it just holds the top stable. I used 3M VHB tape to hold everything in place. I printed them in PETG with 3 walls and 50% infill.
