Since the old covers for the nameplates of our mailboxes held partly only with tape. There I want to change them to new ones.
The original ones from the manufacturer of our old letterboxes were very expensive that I created this template myself.

Since I was unsure if I could handle transparent filament good enought, I made a cutout for an acrylic glass insert.

For the glass I simply took an old unscratched CD cover and cut it to size.
(There exists a lot of tutorials how to cut thin plexiglas\u2026)

The cutout is optional and can be removed via checkbox (for all who are confident to print it so clear - for example with a resin printer...)

All parameters are controllable and can be adjusted individually to the existing cutout. Therefore, the model is not only suitable for letterboxes but for all square cutouts.
