Bambu Lab XYZ Calibration Cube

Yohoo… my Bambu Cube is now the official cube for Bambu Slicer benchmark models. Optional accessories such as the cover and dish can be downloaded from this project. 

UPDATE 5 Jul 2023:

My Bambu cube needed an update, so here it is. Embosses are now 1.4mm rather than 2mm. Kindof overkill with a 2mm overhang. The base of the cube now fits 608 bearings. This will allow the cube to spin when placed on the Bambu dish. 

There are 2 bridging tests. 

• The first one is a circle-to-square bridging. This test how well the bridges are on curve edges and test the filament overlap to the edges. 
• The 2nd is basic point A-B bridging. 

Introduction

A fun project to design an XYZ calibration cube with a Bambu Lab theme. I designed this because I don't like to print benchy.

• Bambu Cube 30x30mm
• All embossed is 1.4mm deep
• This print test for bridging, overhang, dimension accuracy and fitting. 
• Overhang angles are 45° at the 8 corners and 35.5° at the logo chamfer.
• No support is needed.
• If the filaments you using are a drama queen when it comes to bed adhesion, you will need to enable an inner brim. But test so far show no such need. 
• The circular hole for 608 bearings is designed with a diameter of 22.2mm 
• (optional print) Bambu Cover is 2mm thick and fits precisely into the top opening with 0.2mm offset; to test part fitting. 
• (optional print) Bambu Dish is 80mm in diameter and 10mm in height; to display the Bambu Cube and check the seam finish.
