Voron 2.4 Magnetic door hinges

This design allows a quick an easy door removal/installation for the Voron2.4.

Removing the door can be helpful for maintenance work on the printer or for printing PLA.

Once removed the doors can be stored on the side of the printer in the door holder.

BOM

• 6x Screw M3x8 (4x for hinges / 2x for door holders)
• 6x T-Nut M3
• 16x Magnet Ø6x3
• Glue
• VBH tape

Installation.

Door hinges

Glue the magnet inside the hinge's holes (4x magnets per hinge)

/!\ pay attention to the orientation of the magnet /!\

Use VHB tape to link the hinges to the front door panel (as for the original design)

Install the hinges on the aluminum profil with the 4x M3x8 screws and 4x T-Nut M3

Door holder

With 2x M3x6 screws and 2x T-Nut M3 install the door holder on one of the side of the printer
