This is an update of my Pi-4 case with PoE Hat to fit the new PoE+ hat.
It clips together so no screws are necessary and if you need to mount it somewhere, then there’s also a separate mounting bracket.
It’s designed so that you can attach the PoE Hat to a Pi-4 using the provided screws and spacers. The assembly then slips into the base and you clip on the lid. The PoE Hat itself features a 1" fan so I've included vents on the side to ensure airflow over the processor and through the hat.
Note that the USB power socket is covered. I did this deliberately as it is recommended that you don’t power the Pi from USB when a PoE hat is attached. As per their spec sheet:
When the Raspberry Pi PoE+ HAT is connected to your Raspberry Pi, your Raspberry Pi should only be powered through the ethernet cable. Do not use any additional method to power the Raspberry Pi
If you have some, you can press some clear 1.75mm filament into the holes on the end to create light pipes for the two LED’s on the Pi.
I’ve made a few tweaks to my original design, so I’ve also included a file for the original PoE hat. The only thing that changes is the lid, so grab Pi-4 PoE+Lid.3mf for the new PoE+ hat or Pi-4 Original PoE Lid.3mf for the older version of the hat. The base and mount are the same for both hats.
