Seawing mask was awesome. My daughter wanted to be it for Halloween. She did a seawing inspired galaxy wing as she called it. My husband painted the mask. I made her costume. (edited)

Some MMU3, some paint, and one happy kiddo.

Printed at 50% scale as it’s being used as a decoration and not a mask. Painted and ready to go! Thanks for sharing

Excellent design - the detail is amazing! It’s also very solidly designee - it was dropped and only separated at the horns where I made my own cut.

The only modifications I made were:
- Scaling it to 90% to fit a child’s head
- Separating the horns into a separate print from the top of the mask/doweling the horns

We used screws to attach the two halves, and Loctite gel glue to adhere the pieces. We also added eyes made out of Model Magic air-dry clay (which didn’t add any significant weight), and it was painted with acrylic paint.

Such a great model and worked perfectly for our Tsunami costume! Had to split the large file with the horns into two pieces to fit on the printer, but worked out great. We also scaled it down to 84% of the original to fit a child’s head.

@DrNesbitt_1405857 hello,
I Want to ask: how did you make the seawing Tsunami costume? I want to make one for Halloween of my wings of fire oc. Thank you!

Fantastic picture! Honestly… I just kind of pieced it together as I went. I drafted the body suit pattern myself based on my daughter’s clothes. For the feet, wings, tail, and gloves, you can look up individual tutorials online - mainly from YouTube - for sewing these separate elements (I will note the wings are just foam covered in fabric). That’s kind of the fun part - to Frankenstein all the different elements together. 😊

Excellent model! I printed this on a Bambu Lab P1S with Matte Blue and Matte White PLA for my D&D group.

Total Material Used:
- Blue - 334g
- White (Horns and Teeth) - 104g

Total Print Time: 16h 35m

The item is https://www.dndbeyond.com/magic-items/7267341-mask-of-niisintil which is a homebrewed/upgraded version of the https://www.dndbeyond.com/magic-items/13575-blue-dragon-mask for my campaign. I am definitely going to be printing the other masks for the other chromatic dragons.
