Do you love bacon?
This one is for you!
This flexible fridge magnet looks like delicious bacon and also helps you organize your fridge.
It holds your notes or you can wrap it around a pen. If you print multiple ones, you can stick them on top of each other, weave them together and so much more!
You can print it with a single extruder or with a MultiMaterial device like the MMU2. For single extruder printers it's important to print the red file first, then the white one on top of it.
It should be printed in TPU or any other flexible filament. I used a semi soft one with A88 hardness. But others will work as well.
You will also need 4 round magnets for each bacon.
Choose your files depending on how much strength you want or what you have at hand.
No glue is needed! You can press them easily in the openings after printing, like in this video:
Make sure to put the magnets into the bacon at the same direction, so you can put them on top of each other. You can easily swap them around though when printed in a flexible material.
Note for PLA, PETG etc.:
If you want to print them with a non-flexible filament, you should pause the print after a layer height of 2.60mm (at 2.80mm in PrusaSlicer) to put the magnets in and then resume. Keep in mind that the resulting print will not be as flexible as with TPU.
Which also means that you need to make sure your magnets face in the correct direction, as you probably won't get them out again without breaking the print.
Have fun printing this one!
