Updated version with a stronger mount and support for U6-Lite on top of U6-Pro.
This is another free 3D model made available for you. I love sharing my models, but designing, testing, polishing, uploading and maintaining them is a lot of work. In case you enjoy this model, please leave a small Donation or Buy me a Coffee. Thanks a lot!
This wall mount is designed for a variable wall slope. Actually it can be used for any angle from 90 to 0 degree. It fits the Ubiquiti U6-Pro and probably many other Ubiquiti access points. The screw holes prepared match the U6-Pro's “B” holes / T-bar clip distance.
The mount is provided in two versions. Here is the description and the part list to print:
This is version 2 of the mount design. It adds cable management so it can be used both for situation the cable running in the wall and on wall. For in wall use, the cable can be as thick as 7mm, for on wall use, please use a thinner version. For both versions, the cable is going from the access point through UMount.stl and into a hole in WallMount. We provide two closures so the cable can be passed through UMount and Wallmount with the RJ45 plug assembled already.
This is the initial version without cable management. We keep it here as it is really easy to handle and install.
The handle can either be fully printed (thread printed, HandleFull.stl) or you can insert a metal nut (HandleNut.stl).
User Graeme Thornton provided another version of the mount with a round base. In the pictures, it is shown with blue filament.
Good with standard settings 0.2mm layer height and 0.4mm nozzle. Used for indoor use, PLA is just fine. Can be printed without support.
Provided you are located in the European Union, I offer a printing service for this model.
The price is 12 EUR plus shipping. Parts are shipped including screws and a nut.
