I remixed this statue from Thingiverse to make a trophy for competition. I included parametric files for base and text.

I made three of these trophies for a chili eating contest and decided to also upload them here. I borrowed the chili champion statue from the Chili champ trophy from Thingiverse.

Manufacturing instructions

I printed the chili champ figure from Prusament PLA Oh my gold because I had some of it left and it is one of the best golden filaments. The ideal orientation of the statue for printing is when it stands on the small cylinder that is at the bottom. I just added supports on the built plate for the tip of the chili and the arms. I printed the base part from Verbatim black PLA. If you have a properly calibrated printer, there is no need to use supports for this part. I printed the plate with the text from golden Prusament and then used the color change function in PrusaSlicer and printed the rest of the text plate from black PLA to get higher contrast.

To complete the trophy, I removed the supports from the chili champion figure and glued it to the base, in the hole corresponding to the cylinder on the bottom of the chili champion. I did the same with the text plate and glued it to the base in the cut-out for it. You may need to sand the edges of this plate if some bridges on base collapsed or deformed.
