Ikea / Brio electric train design 2 of 3. This one uses 2AAA battery box built into the cab. A small micro miniature switch allows for on/off. Ive included the instruction jpg files from the Youtube video here. Power comes from a 2 axle miniature motor and gearbox commonly found on Ebay. Drive is with grooved wheels and elastic band tyres. The design was inspired by ones recently published but I have redrawn the train using ProDesktop 8 and Tinkercad. A small weight added to the front (10mm ball bearing) helps when climbing and pulling carriages up inclines and bridges. The hitch was printed separately and uses a small ball magnet from a toy kit and is glued on once the best position is established. I used silk PLA+ and would recommend supports for below the axles only.
