Description

PDF

A straight rod hook for general use with a pegboard. The size is custimizable.

The distance of 2 pegboard holes is 25mm (almost but not total equal to 1 inch), each hole is 5mm and the thickness (gross, you need some slack) is 3mm. But also these parameters can be changed to fit your pegboard.

I included examples as stl.

Printer: PrimaCreator P120 v3 (Malyan m200)

Rafts: No

Supports: No

Resolution: 0.2mm layer 0.4mm nozzle

It is not hard to remove from the printbed (not totally square),
while also having some flat sides (not totally round) giving it more strength and bedcohesion.

How I Designed This

Openscad

Basis shape is a 5mm circle limited by a 4.5mm square: this creates good fit for the holes of the pegboard and gives strength. This shape is not hard to remove from the printbed (not totally square) while also having flat sides (not totally round) giving it good bedcohesion.

The distance of 2 pegboard holes is 25mm (almost but not total equal to 1 inch), the hole is 5mm and the thickness (gross, you need some slack) is 3mm.

The scad file contains a basic hook which I extend with any application. In this case: a straight rod hook. Any ideas or challenges are welcome.
