Parametric Filament Spool Clip

I think the little simple filament-end spool clips are a brilliant idea… but all of my spools are a bit different, and I haven't been able to find a “one size fits all” clip. Hence this parametric design, which can be adjusted to suit. I have included a few options, but the SCAD file allows you to easily generate whatever size clip you need.

Included STLs:

• clip_thinwall_std.stl - suitable for thin-walled filament spools (this is my ‘goto’ clip; there's enough spring to handle thicker-walled spools, too)
• clip_thickwall_std.stl - suitable for thick-walled filament spools
• clip_thinwall_short.stl - suitable for thin-walled filament spools with narrow ‘rims’
• clip_thickwall_short.stl - suitable for thick-walled filament spools with narrow ‘rims’

No more wasting time and filament poking through the little holes in the spool wall!
