Spool for cotton thread

My daughter need to organize a cotton threads for needlework. That's why I modeled this simple winding reel. It is easy to store in a square box thanks to the square flange and from the top you can see the color of the thread thanks to the round flange. It is compatible with sewing machines that have a 6mm winding shaft. Before winding it is necessary to clean the hole in the square flange with a small drill bit up to 2mm diameter.

Print instructions

It's great to use residue of filament. Good prints from the PLA Prusament example, but can also be used PETG, ASA, ABS ... Slicer properties: 2 perimeters, layer height 0,2mm, min. 10% infill, 2 or 3 top/bottom layers, no supports needed.
