Make opening a bottle of wine easier with this foil cutter!

Parts required:

PETG filament so the part can flex when gripped
4 - snap off blades from a 9mm utility knife
2 - M3 x 10mm socket head screws (included in my MK3 spare hardware bag)
2 - M3 hex nuts (included in my MK3 spare hardware bag)

Assembly instructions:

Part holes are designed to print with a sacrificial bridge so the holes can print without supports. Drill those out so the screws can be pushed through. Install the blades so the sharpened edge is not exposed. I find the sharp edge round over, and the squared off edge is sharp enough to cut the foil. Press in the hex nuts, and screw the clamps down tight to secure the blades. The clamps are designed with a small gap so it will bow slightly in the middle to assure the blades are captured.

How to use:

Grip the foil cutter with your dominant hand and the wine bottle with your other. Place foil cutter on the top of the wine bottle and grip with light pressure while turning your wrist about a quarter turn and back. The 4 blades should have cut the foil and removed the top. Uncork your bottle of wine and enjoy! Please be safe and drink responsibly!
