SK-Tank LGX Dual 5015s Mount for Stock Gantry (Rapido)

A remix of Declinox's mount designed to fit a Bondtech LGX and TL/Phaetus Rapido. Might work with other hot ends.

A Remix of Declinox's excellent Dual-5015 mount designed to fit a Bondtech LGX + Rapido Hot End. Due to my limited remixing abilities I had to remove the rear heatbreak fan shroud and just used a clip-on 40mm fan shroud that mounts on the front. This is super-overkill for the rapido which can work fine with a 25mm fan, but doesn't reduce the dimensions of the printer any so not a huge problem. I plan to eventually work on this to reintroduce a 25mm rear-mounting fan. This design should still work with the Euclid Z-probe mount he designed but I have not tested that as I am using the inductive probe.

The mount itself prints fine with supports only really needed for the bridging at the 5015 ports but depending on what material you use you may not need it. I used PETG which drooped a little too much to get a good fit without supports.

I used this LGX Rapido adapter made by Almirante Hurón (no PTFE needed, also printed in PETG)

I also used the clip-on 40mm heatbreak fan shroud from Ofek256's Ender 3 mod

If you are using the stock LGX motor as I am you will need longer standoffs between the carriage and the mount. I used 25mm with a single washer added and that works well.

You WILL need to cut out part of the 5015's bolt channel to accommodate a nut just as in the original design.

For the inductive probe the offset is -20X -25Y

The included fan tips work fine with the Rapido in HF configuration. Just print two and mirror one for the other side. I plan to add some for UHF configuration once I play around with that. I also plan to redesign the tips to spread the airflow around a little more to the front and back of the extrusion area.

I had to add an X endstop finger to the gantry since the mount is a little too wide to trigger properly. I've included a 4mm version which works well for me.

I also added a longer Z endstop finger to allow for a greater range of trigger distances.

The finished printable area is X:320 Y:300 and you could probably squeeze a few more mm out of it if needed.

Feel free to comment with any questions.
