Vortex System For Biqu H2 V2 & Sovol SV01 PRO

This is the all new Vortex System to mount the Biqu H2 V2 extruder on the Sovol SV01 PRO, OG SV01 & SV03!

Equipped with twin spiralling air ducts for powerful effective airflow directly to the area below the nozzle!.

EDIT: Now with V2 ducts & adapter plate!

Edit: New M12 inductive probe units added for both models! 

NOTE a firmware change is required to use the Inductive probe versions.

Depending on the probe you have you may need to buy some slim M12 nuts to mount the probe, even some printed ones should work. 

Some M12 probes come with massive nuts! haha

Edit: Now includes Fan Mount Offset Variants so you can fine-tune the air flow to your liking! Note though only the 0mm, 1mm, & 2mm offset are compatible with the SV01 PRO Vortex main body & CR Touch at this time.

Print parts as shown in the slicer photo above adding custom supports as needed.

You will need to GLUE with super glue or preferably UHU POR or similar contact adhesive the flat surfaces of the Fan Mount to the Vortex Ducts, they are separate for ease of printing. Make sure you glue them the correct way round if using super glue. They will be removable if using UHU POR.

Also SV01 Pro only, the X Bump Stop is required to set the nozzle over the bed when the X axis is homed. Not vital but helpful. Glue this onto the left side of the main unit with UHU POR so it activates your X axis end stop switch.

I will update the required hardware list soon, to assemble its pretty easy. Bolts will be M3 & M4. Fan is a single 5015 unit.

I recommend the +2mm offset fan mount for best results.

!! IMPORTANT !!

You will need 3 washers or similar spacer when mounting a CR Touch or BL touch.

Touch Probe Offset: X -30.70, Y -26.10

M12 Inductive Probe Offset: X -30.7, Y -26.8

I highly recommend changing the stock nozzle for a REAL E3DV6 Hardened Steel nozzle! Seriously, you need to do this! IT really improves the printing performance of the H2V2 over the stock nozzle. Even a E3DV6 Brass nozzle will do just fine.

SV01 Pro version only. The lower M3 bolt on the right hand edge of the main unit needs to be added from the rear of the printer's metal mounting plate & a nut added between the body of the main unit & the motor after the H2 extruder is fitted to the Vortex main unit. The upper bolt can be added as per normal from the front by adding it above the motor.
