I didn't like the dangling style of adapters or the slip-on style (my dogs are way too active to trust they'd stay on), and I didn't want to have visible screws. So I came up with this design. The screws go in from the backside and are invisible from the front.

I have uploaded 3mf files with suggested settings. I found printing the parts with the flat side down and supports to produce better results than the other way round.
