I have Fysetc stepstick protector modules on my TMC2208's, so I needed extra space. I recessed the fan mount and extended the walls of the enclosure. Hopefully this will provide adequate space, I afforded around 14mm of extra space, and the stepstick protectors are about 10mm. I also have 6mm magnets, and my heatset inserts are smaller than the originals.

Also, I'm still pretty new when it comes to CAD. My remix may be... lacking. :)

Update (5/29/2019): I've had everything installed and working fine. I designed a small bracket/clip thing to keep the door shut, as the magnets don't always want to hold (well they usually hold in 2 of 3 spots, or disengage randomly). I will add the bracket on here soon. It is not intrusive and has yet to fall off.

Update 5/16/2019: The hour of installation is rapidly approaching. I have changed the parameters of the standoffs to fit the heatset inserts I have. They are smaller than the original creator's. The inserts I have are M5, OD 6.3mm and length of 5mm. I want to thank TrevJones for including the original CAD files for modification. My feeble skills have allowed me to suit my purposes and use such a great design.

Update 5/5/2019: I have added versions of the top and bottom to insert 6x1.8mm magnets instead of the default. I have a bunch of these on hand. Each magnet insert is likely to be different from each other because I suck and redid each of them manually. But the important dimensions are the same. I also removed the included support for the bottom.

EDIT 5/5/2019: Added v2. I widened the slanted sides to more closely match the original geometry. It should fit fine, with maybe a tiiiiiny bit of gap. Also, the original mesh I exported did not include the magnet mounts, so that has been fixed. I haven't printed and test fitted this version yet, but it should be good.

EDIT: It doesn't fit quite right. The slanted sides are a bit too tight together to fit onto the bottom part. I'll have to fix that soon...

How I Designed This

Fusion 360, Solidworks

The original creator was kind enough to provide the Fusion 360 files. Thank you!!!

For the standoffs, I downloaded the original file as .STP and used Solidworks to change the dimensions.
