Design
This is a 2 part draining soap/sponge dish. The base makes sure that the water drains out the front, while the top allows the soap/sponge to air dry. It's designed to work with standard kitchen sponges and should also work with most soap bars.
Printing
Both parts are designed to be printable without supports (optimal orientation shown in included gcode file). I printed the base with PLA and the rack with PETG using 0.1mm layer heights*. I liked the two-tone look, and with the right color combination it will look great in any space.
*I would recommend printing the base with PETG to ensure that it's waterproof, I just didn't because my current setup didn't let me do that.
Assembly
The rack simply sits on the base, held in place by the rods.
If you don't want the rack to slide around, there are cutouts on the bottom where you can add a little hot glue to make DIY anti-skid pads. I recommend adding in an equal amount of hot glue to each hole, then when the glue is starting to solidify (but still malleable) flip it over and apply a little pressure to make sure the dish sits flat.
