This is a remix that adds more finely detailed wings than can be achieved with a 3D printer. This is achieved by spray painting transparency sheets (200 micron thickness) gold and then cutting out the wing shape with a cutting plotter (in this case a Cricut Maker). Just fold the wing along the perforated lines and “roll” it up. Optionally a thin wire can be inserted in the folded/rolled up root of the wing for more stability and easier shaping of the curved wind profile. The basic curvature of the wing is achieved by sharply bending the foil material for example around the edge of your finger nails.
The stand is pretty self explanatory, just stick a rod through the center and fix your Golden Snitch to it at the height you desire. HP logo is attached with a tiny drop of superglue. The base of the stand (cross) is glued to the wood with wood glue.
