We have a nice sturdy cheese mill from WMF, made out of stainless steel and nearly indestructible. However, to make it run smoothly, there are two cheap plastic distance rings around the central mill element that will break sooner or later.

I've designed a replacement part that has a predefined split so it can be put over the rim and then glued together once in place. I recommend to put it through the dishwasher at least once before actually milling cheese 😉 (unless you used dedicated food-safe plastic). But the ring usually doesn't come in contact with the cheese anyway.

Note: depending on your printer's tolerances, you might need to scale it up or down by 1-2%, or adjust the overextrusion settings in your slicer, as it needs a pretty tight fit. I also recommend printing with supports so the locking pins don't droop to one side.
