The wall mount I created to dispense filament spins too freely, so I created this filament brake. Because of the variation in spool types, I needed something that could be adjusted so that I could place pressure on the spool without it getting snagged. I've noticed that PLA/+, this prints perfectly. When I printed with some specialty materials, the brake comes out with the threads being too loose. It also makes a great desk toy, if you like to fidget with things like I do.
