This is a symmetric half of an 8 point star for the top of a Christmas tree. I printed on my FLSUN-QQs about as big as could fit on the round base. I printed two halves, and then glued the two together with super glue.
Sorry - there are no alignment pins or features - just be careful with the glue up.
The center of the star is “hollow” or creates a cavity for lights. I designed the star so that supports would be minimized … the inside angle is 45-deg … but the round base of the star might require some support for a clean print.
I bought a small string of LEDs and glued them inside the cavity of the star using hot glue so that the star is light up. It’s a heck of an upgrade from the previous star we had at the top of our tree.
I printed out of white PLA. It makes for a fairly diffuse glow from the LEDs inside. A nice semi-transparent PETG would be pretty nice.
