This is a mount for the Creality CR-10 family of printers (and others with the same X carriage) with the PrecisionPiezo Orion Z probe and a Zesty Nimble remote direct extruder.

You'll need a PrecisionPiezo Orion. I recommend you get the groovemount kit and just replace this mount for the top part.

Alternatively, buy the PCB from precision-piezo, print out the groove clamp from this thing, which is the same one that comes in the kit, and sort out the wiring.

You will also need a Zesty Nimble extruder.

On top of that you need an E3Dv6 or compatible hot end.

Materials needed:

  • 4 countersunk M3x16mm screws (the same ones that come with the PrecisionPiezo kit)
  • 2 cap head M3x6mm screws to secure the mount to the carriage
  • 2 M3 hex nuts to fixate the Nimble

I have included 2 STLs. The mount and a base for the Nimble. Just pop the latter under the extruder piece so it sits flush with the mount.

If you print and use this thing, please post pictures and let me know in the comments!

Resolution:

0.1-0.3

Infill:

15-30%

Filament: N/A PLA

Notes:

I recommend printing the first few layers with lower width (0.1-0.15mm) so the round corners and the countersunk screw slots print correctly.

I use the "height ranges" feature in [PrusaSlicer](https://www.prusa3d.com/prusaslicer/) to accomplish that whilst printing most of the mount at 0.3 height.
