Here you can find some earrings I made for my girlfriend. She likes my huge philodendron so I made one of it's leafs to an earring.
This one was printed in "golden" ABS and acetone-smoothed afterwards; I printed 2 extra pieces mirrored so I was able to glue 2 pairs together (again with acetone) to hide the ugly bottom surface. You can find pictures of that process in the gallery.
Unfortunately I made kind of a slapdash work and left the earhangers too long in the acetone vapor so it melted a bit too much which resulted in an imperfect glue-fit. So maybe it's better to glue them together before smoothing.
If you decide to print it with a nozzle >= 0,4mm I recommend scaling the leaf to 110% in order to have all details printed.
update: I edited the earrings (monestera12.stl) a bit to make them printable in a single piece. Also I thickened the stem a bit to make it last longer. You'll need some support though and a nozzle size of about 0,2mm. The given orientation is the one that works best for me and there's some manual break-away support. To prevent Z-artefacts on an i3 Printer, rotate it along the Y-axis; see the slicing-suggestion for acceptable results.
