This is a water feed tap addition for "Modular Drop Riffle Sluice (Small)" by Trippsy25, found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1897847

I printed the above at 50% width and 75% height as a cleanup sluice, it worked very well but I wanted a water feed for it. I designed this piece to do that. It was designed to print with minimal support in mind using the pictured orientation..

I have only printed the cleanup size but have provided full size files as well. The cleanup sluice worked fantastic as a recirculating system with this pump from amazon and some 1/2" tubing (not and affliate link): https://www.amazon.ca/800GPH-Submersible-Aquarium-Fountain-Hydroponics/dp/B071RVPNQL

To print you require:

1x Chamber (50% scale if cleanup sized or 100% scale if full sized)

1x Matching scale Chamber Cap

1x Hose input ( scale to match parts chosen above and diameter to match the inner diameter of your hose)

1x Smoother (To be scaled in your slicer, leave at 100% if full sized or scale 50% width and 75% height if cleanup sized)

1x Feed (To be scaled in your slicer, leave at 100% if full sized or scale 50% width and 75% height if cleanup sized)

Some super glue.

To assemble:

  • Glue cap onto chamber
  • Glue hose tap into hole on the chamber top. The hole may need a touch of filing in order to fit through, the hole will print fine without support, but may droop at the top a touch.

-Insert the Chamber into the body at the rear with the holes facing the open end

-Insert the the smoother in the front.

-The pieces are designed to be a tight fit, some smootheing may be needed on the edges to get the parts to fit. I chose not to glue the chamber and the smoother in in order to facilitate cleaning, however they can be glued in.

-To use feed your cons slowly in between the smoother and water chamber.
