So I wanted a base for the Vader bust - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3986772 - so I did this (I saw the oval one - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1319396 - but I wanted something more hard edged and mean looking). Hard to see the embedded text but I am thinking about taking some colored modeling clay and pressing into the cavities to make it stand out more. I am open to suggestions! If you have a dual extruder then I guess you could do another color for inside of the txt but I do not have one.
I am also trying to figure out a way to light it up so the words would be lighted rather than stuffed with clay or something. Just a beginner here so I am still trying to learn how to do anything so may take a while to figure that out.
Infill actually was ok at 5% for a test print I did but just like the bust itself, I wanted to make sure it could handle being touched.
Supports I did EVERYWHERE just so the embedded text would have a better footing on the inside. Since it was on the inside, it doesn't matter how many supports there are as you will never see them (unless the lighting thing may screw that up...)
Guess that's it, enjoy.
Forgot to upload the font I used - Boba Fonts Hollow is the one.
