I wanted a printable pump clip that didn't have layer line weaknesses, so I designed the horizontal clip for myself. A couple other diabetics requested variations.
Print Info
All print without support, enable bridging in your slicer if it's not on. If bridging droops too much with your printer, enable bed only supports.
I suggest printing this with wider extrusions for strength. If you're using a 0.4mm nozzle, I'd recommend setting your line width to 0.6mm. If you are using a 0.6mm nozzle, 0.9mm line width produces a very strong clip. This prints fine with your standard settings too, if you don't want to mess with settings.
Mine is PLA, but PETG should also be good. ABS is likely too weak in a thinner print like this, and I'm interested in trying this in TPU, let me know how it works if you do.
0.20mm to 0.35mm layer height print well and are strong, layer heights below 0.2mm will reduce the clip's strength.
The separate clip may require scaling up/down in your slicer by 1-2% to get a tight fit, or use superglue to permanently join them.
