Please consider TIPing me if you like this or my other designs - It'll help me make more stuff and get some money back from filament used for prototypes :)
Some people are asking me for the firmware I use so here it is Marlin fork. You need to pick a branch as there are many and probably do some fine tuning i.e. MKS version 1.1.9 and SKR 1.3 version 2.0.x.
2019-07-16 - No changes - just confirming SKR 1.3 fits nicely (and it's a nice board :) )
I made a Prusa i3 mk3 Clone - with a MKS Gen L as a mainboard so I needed a case for it (should also work with an SKR board - I did not tested it though).
It can contain TMC2130 in SPI with the pins directed upwards, there's plenty of clearance for the X motor (that is mounted to the back in mk3). I have a 92x92x25 fan (HA92251V4-A99-A) mounted on it to keep the drivers cool - the fan makes literally no noise and is probably weak but I run the printer in spreadCycle as 24V spreadCycle is more quiet than a 12V stealthChop (exaggerating a bit but it's awesome how quiet the printer turned out to be).
There is are four screw holes that may look like a place for a mosfet but it's for a circuit board that I made to reduce 24V to 12V for my fans (it's a 60x40 board with M2 screw mounts).
I dropped the hinges idea as those were to complex for me to do and I didn't really need them.
Anyways, I hope someone will find it useful. Let me know if you require more information about it.
