This is my first try at designing something, any feedback is appreciated. FreeCAD file included.
Simple base to turn an empty AmazonBasics spool into a turntable for various uses. My plan is to use this as a base for spray painting/priming future prints without having to touch the part. This could also be used as a base for manual 3d scanning.
You need a 608ZZ bearing and both parts. Assembly should be straightforward.
Supports aren't really necessary if your printer can do good bridging (widest bridge is 22mm, OD of 608zz bearing), otherwise use support for the middle of turn_insert.
I printed it with AmazonBasics(duh) PLA and it fits just fine. I designed the axle on turn_base to be a little bit thinner than the ID of 608ZZ, if you find it too loose, you can scale it up a little on XY plane.
