I was struggling while printing with TPU. The extruder was really pulling and stretching the filament. I needed less friction from the spool holder mount. I was already using one on a different printer and I liked how it worked. I remixed that design to fix my Mingda Rock 3 Pro.
You will need (2) 608ZZ bearings. I used these the last time I ordered a set. They're cheap and they seem to work ok. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B097BRHRVR?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=nmemprod-20&linkId=fdce96ba0684e083e29d92f00b8a3815&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl - Affiliate link)
This is the first real thing I have made, so be gentle with feedback! I have no idea how the tolerance are across the factory spool holders and really have no idea what I'm doing!
I left a hole for a bolt and nut. It's really completely optional. I ran a few jobs without it, it's more for peace of mind.
I highly recommend using PLA+ and probably more like 25% infill. I used 10% when I was testing and ended up just using that print. It's sturdy, but your milage may vary.
