After watching Alexandre Chappel video of his table, I had the urge to do my own version. I really wanted to challenge my CAD skills to design FDM/FFF parts which don't require the need of support or afterward combining.
BOM:
3x Round stock of wood 25mm x 550mm (lengh is not that critical)
3x Round stock of wood 25mm x 108mm (lengh is not that critical)
1x plate 350-400mm diameter 20-40mm thick
15x Countersunk head srews (for wood applications) 3.5 or 4 x 20mm
3x dowel 8x30 or create cylinders with that measurment in prusaslicer and print them ;)
Details for assembly can be found in the pictures.
The diameter in which the hole pattern for the dowels is 130mm
The strut connector ist possioned ~120mm away from the leg end.
Printing recommendations:
- orientations can be found in the pictures
- min. 4walls
- top/bottom min. 6
- layerhight 0.2-0.3mm (there are no features wich requires specific layerhight)
- infill 40% (cubic or gyroid are my preferred ones)
- matrial: ABS/ASA, PETG or PLA with low cooling (20-30%) for more part strengh
