Update 12/11/19: Updated files all over the place with updated naming to account for sizes. All versions now have 12 holes meant to be tapped out to 1/4NPT to mount coolant tubes for helping hands, eliminating the need for stacking another mount. Split versions are available in both hex and tap mount. My test print showed the split does pretty well with only some slight flex between pieces when pressing on opposite sides.

A tray base to fit onto a standard Panavise and hold your bits and bobs as well as spread out the footprint for greater stability, similar to their model 312.

I'll be working on a few variations for thickness, mounting, and overall size. All will have tap-fit holes on the edges for attachments. Can be mounted directly to the vise base or work with other base options with a 130mm OD such as https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2512756 specifically.

First two options:

  • _8mm_hex.stl - 8mm tall, 215mm diameter to mimic the 312 model. Has hex recesses on the bottom for standard 1/4-20 hexnuts and a pass-through bolt fit. Will probably print those recesses fine without supports but you can also pop the hexnuts in during the print(after it's cleared their height about 5.6mm) to keep them printing clean.
  • _8mm_tap.stl - 8mm tall, 215mm diameter. Mount holes are 5.16mm for a 1/4-20 tap but may need a clearing pass with the tap drill for good results.
