Camping Table Wall Brackets

Wall Brackets for storing a camping table against a vertical wall.

I've designed this for an 18mm thick table top but it could be scaled to accommodate thicker.

I used 10% infill, which made them strong enough to hold a small table and printed in about 6 hours on an Ender 3 V2 at 0.2mm resolution.

I've uploaded each of the 3 different parts, to print 2 of each - you do need to mirror one of the latches as they only rotate in one direction - you need left and right versions. Latch bases and corners are symmetrical and don't need to be mirrored.

The "complete" file is all 6 parts needed, so 2 corners, 2 latch bases and a left and right version of the latch. They are arranged in a way to reduce print head travel distance.

Post-Printing

Additional parts required

You will need two M5x20 screws and two M5 nyloc nuts for the latches. You could use slightly longer or shorter screws, as long as they have a round head. The M5 screws on the latches can be tightened/loosened whilst it's on the wall, as the hole on the back is hexagonal.

To attach to a wall, you need 4mm diameter countersunk screws. With 40mm mounting screws, they protrude through the parts and about 15mm into the wall. The screws should be tightened to make the countersunk heads flush.
