A 2.5" cable port with removable lid which itself contains a sliding door allowing multiple configurations and adjustability.
I had a four of these in some built-in-cabinets that had not aged well, were missing their lids, had yellowed etc. So decided to design a more flexible replacement with a sliding door that can be closed, varying degrees of open, removed, or the entire cover removed as needed to facilitate different cable configurations.
Of course you can color-match to your furniture too, white/grey/black/wood-filament etc.
Supports are needed for the rails on the lid that the sliding door uses, but they don't exist for many layers. Remove them by running a smallish sharp flathead screwdriver up and down the rail slots until the door moves relatively freely.
OpenSCAD file included in case you have/want/use holes of different dimensions.
