A printed drawing that creates an image of a woman with a peacock outdoors. The woman is naked but wears a crown-like turban and a scepter which makes her a queen. The peacock (and a bird sitting on a tree) both face the woman as if waiting for her commands.
The peacock’s tendency to strut while displaying its flamboyant tail led to associations with pride and vanity. On the other hand the peacock is a symbol of immortality in Christian art, stemming from the ancient belief that its flesh never decayed.
But with her nude form on display it may be just a mirror of her beauty here.
The image is taken from monks' illustrations in a foliant.
This is meant for 2 color printing, you change the filament at a certain height. The base has 0,5 mm and then the drawing follows with 0,4 mm.
Slice it with a layer height of 0,2 mm, first layer height 0,3
and in the slicer insert a “Change filament” before the 3rd layer and thus you can print it black on white or what colors you prefer.
173 x 131 mm
