Which Way Will the Water Go?
Have you seen Which Way Will the Water Go? (ft. Steve Mould)- Smarter Every Day 226 - YouTube ?
It's an interesting physics experiment to explain the concept of galilean relativity in an unconventional way.
Necessary
- plastic glue (attack is ok)
- tube connector
- 6mm hole pipe (I used a broken antenna). A soft metal is recommended!
How to:
- you have to bend the tube in a J shape (see pictures), this is quite critical. Pay attenction not to brake it. A soft metal is recommended!
- print separate pieces (optimized for NO support)
- screw a water tube connector on BF
- glue BF on BB (BF walls facing BB)
- lay TB on BB (TB walls facing up)
- glue BT on BB from the hole (BT walls facing down), make sure that TB is able to rotate
- glue TT on TB, make sure that TB is able to rotate
- press fit the J tube in the holes (in my case glue was not needed)
