Spiral Complex Vase

This is an organic vase created with spiral strands - giving it a soft conforming feel. My first attempt failed because I tried to skip the important steps of making it a manifold object. I went back and tediously connected all the components one by one. One of the benefits of 3D Printing is complexity and this model showcases this attribute.

Important Note: I have tried to print this at a smaller size and it failed. Print this as large as possible otherwise, the strands will be too fragile and will break. In fact, you need an oversized printer for this to work. I printed it at full size on an extended Ultimaker and it printed fine but the upper segments were still very fragile.
