1 1/4 to 5/8" hose adapter. Hydro-Force (Candian Tire) soft-sided pool pump hose adapter

I built a simple pool heater for our 12' Hydro-Force soft-sided pool from Canadian Tire. I bought some black poly hose to make a solar water heater. It was labeled 1/2" i.d. but I found that it's inner diameter was actually 5/8" (measure twice, print once). This adapter fits between the hose for the pump and the hose for the heater.

Tapered sides so that it didn't have to be perfect.

*UPDATE: I wasn't happy with the original, the taper wasn't gradual enough to help and interfered with clamping. I've added a new one with flat sides.
