E-scooter headlight mounting clamp and bar

This headlight mount clamps tightly onto the e-scooter stem tube and projects forward a horizontal one-inch mounting bar for most any supplemental headlight. This has a clean look and will free up space on your handlebars for other accessories.

Be sure to measure the size of your stem, because this will work only one size tube and cannot be scaled up or down due to bolt hole requirements. Assemble tightly, but do not overtighten. Channels are provided in front and back (6 mm diameter) to accommodate small cables that travel down the stem tube, perhaps for the headlight itself.

Print Settings

Although 20% infill seems pretty strong, I recommend going with 100% to reduce the chance of failure due to vibration fatigue or exposure to the elements.

How I Designed This

This was my first 3D design. I used Microsoft 3D Builder, hence the composition is essentially several cylinders. There are a few artifacts where I made modifications such as filling holes to move them around. Those are likely due to zero-width cut/overlap issues. If this were popular enough, I'd start over to make it perfectly clean because a couple extra seams are visible on the clamp. The embossed text BARTBIKE is the official nickname of this design.
