Baby Yoda Right Hand Repair Kit

Baby Yoda's right hand is difficult to print and often gets removed along with the support material. If this happens, have no fear. Print this part in just a few minutes to create a replacement hand that can be glued in place.

One could print the separate hand objects that come with the original model, but this one has been scaled and trimmed to align and fit easily in the correct place without having to work on the object mesh, and without having to measure or rework the tiny printed part (see the post-processing below).

Repair Instructions

Use a file to remove whatever is where Yoda's right hand should have been. File it level with the sleeve, without damaging the sleeve. This should leave a small, flat surface in the center of the sleeve perfect for attaching the flat side of the hand, which is to face inward. Clean the surfaces then clamp Baby Yoda upside-down for easy gluing and drying.
