This is a replacement latch for the Carlson brand pet gate we've had for a couple years. After gluing the broken piece didn't work I pulled out Fusion 360 and within a couple of hours had a model to print.
Update 3/31/2020:
The initial print finally failed after about 9 months of heavy daily use. I re-printed in PETG, I will update if/when it fails again.
I also added the files for replacement buttons for the latch as well, since one of them broke a while back.

Latch mechanism:
I printed this with 0.5 mm line width and 4 walls, 30% infill. I also angled in Cura at 30 degrees so that the force wouldn't be perpendicular to the layers, in an attempt to reduce or avoid layer separation failures.
I used Cura Tree supports, and when I pulled the model off the build plate, the supports popped right off and stayed stuck to the buildplate. Only minor trimming with flush cut clippers required.
Button:
Since the part is so small, I printed this with a brim, 0.4 mm line width. I printed at 0.08 layer height to try to achieve a more rounded top and fillets where your finger pushes on it.
The bottom has a small 0.2 mm chamfer on the outer edge so if you have a bit of elephant foot or the brim isn't perfectly trimmed, it will still operate smoothly.
I included the Fusion 360 project files in case there are other similar gate latches that may vary in size slightly... This was my very first F360 project that wasn't a tutorial so some of the sketches and the history may not be the smoothest workflow, but it got the job done :)
