This is a Clearance test that should be fast and should not consume a lot of plastic.

This should take less than 10 min with 0.2mm L.H. 50mm/s and less than 2 Grams of plastic.

This is measuring clearance from 0.05mm to 0.5mm.

I had to design this in order to fix my first layer clearance (to fix the elephant foot/clearance among print in place moving part).

Before attempting this test:-

-make sure you have calibrated ( leveled ) your bed to the best you can.

-make sure your printer retraction, speed, dimensional accuracy, and horizontal expansion are calibrated.

-try to print this with PLA (dry good enough) With no heated bed or Glue to get the best result.

  • please USE IT WITH CAUTION AND AT YOUR OWN RISK:-

if the bed isn't calibrated well ( leveled ) nozzle/bed/build surface may be damaged ...

Good Luck.
