On the Mazda BP1800 motor, there is an idle air valve that is used to supply air to the manifold during idle conditions. When an aftermarket engine management is used this air valve can cause problems with the idle. This part replaces the idle air valve and blocks any unmetered air from entering the manifold.
This model has been successfully testing in a engine bay with PLA, however it is strongly recommended that ABS be used for better longevity.
