Hi friends
I know you were waiting it for a long time. The new version of the wonderful Great Gratouille is here. After many optimisations and a redesign, I'm proud to present the Great Gratouille v3!
Let's Steve speaks about it : "It is a revolution!"
But what's up?
First a new design of the handle, easy to catch.
Bust the most important is a place for a magnet. I was always searching for the Gratouille. So I decided to use a mganet that allows to let it everywere on the printer. From a flat surface to a vertical one. With the magnet the Great Gratouille is free to move everywhere!
I used a 8x2mm magnet but made a place for a 11mm diameter max. Use glue to maintain the magnet.
One last advise. Avoid silk filament. I noticed that silk is not good to scratch the nozzle.
Hope this version will be usefull for you...

Hi everybody,
After years of calculations and tests, I'm happy to present you the second version of Great Gratouille. Better profile and hook to catch small filaments on your bed without danger for it.
Enjoy

Dear friends,
I'm proud to present to you the best tool for 3d printing. An example of the french genius in it's most advanced form. After the bike, the Braille alphabet, the photography, the computer and the bra, here is... the Great Gratouille!
Did you never cried in looking your filament which continues to emerge of the nozzle during the heating? Or after an extruder calibration? Or after a filament changing? Or juste before the printing, making a big ball that will destroy your first layer, giving you cold sweats?
Forget all that. It is an old souvenir.
Now with the Great Gratouille, you'll always be ready to clean the nozzle, until the last moment, couple of millimeter over the bed.
Print the Great Gratouille and you'll be free !
How does it functions? When you scratch the nozzle, the crossed lines retains the filament pieces. Naturally, don't let the Great Gratouille without moving because the temperature could melt the PLA (the next version of Great Gratouille will be made of NASA Shuttle ceramic). No, be a gentleman and gently scratch the nozzle.
Immediately after scratching, the thin filament can easily be removed from the Great Gratouille.
And the most awesome of the object is that, if you forget to remove filament, when cooled, it will be a part of the Great Gratouille and remove itself the future filament!
After that I suggest you to go drinking a glass of Champagne (or Auchentoshan if you prefer) to celebrate the deliverance.
Cherry on the cake, you can use the tube to put a pen. With two Great Gratouille and their pen you have the perfect tool for dancing on the table and become the new Charlot !
