Hi friends,

I don't know about you but I think it is possible to improve the Artillery Sidewinder X1 with very simple things.

The last time, I offered you a 3-piece kit: pliers holder, protection of sd-usb sockets and filament cleaner. (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4250562)

Today here are two accessories for the tray.

The first accessory is a guide that keeps the power cable of the tray in the axis. It avoids twisting the wires. It is much easier to print and install than a complete cable chain. It is maintained by the power cord. To print it you must use supports and I suggest you tu print like on the picture.

The second accessory is a wheel extension. The original wheel, which allows the bed to be raised or lowered, is 5cm in diameter. With this extension we go to 8.5 cm which is the maximum that we can install without risk of damaging the connectors of the Z axis.

In addition to its large diameter, the wheel indicates the direction of rotation to go up (and therefore to go down). Finally, on my Sidewinder X1, one cheek turn moves the bed by 1 mm. There are 8 notches on the wheel which means that when you move from a notch, you go up or down 0.125mm. This value is recalled on the side of each notch. So you can precisely know what you do.

Be careful if you have covers for the Z axis! When installing these wheels, make sure that your bed can move forward and backward as much as possible without the wheels touching the covers.

For printing, I printed in 0.32mm with a infill of 10% and without supports. If you know how to use 2 filaments I suggest you print the "

I hope these accessories be helpfull.

October 2020 : I have added a version for Artillery Genius of the wheel.

December 2020 : It seems that Some Genius wheels are different so I made 3 size : 71, 73 and 75mm diameter

Bonjour chez vous !

Note : if you use a base cable cover like this one : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4115325

It is too wide and does not leave enough room for the wheels. So I redesigned it to make it 7mm narrower. I put the stl file with the others.
