Hi friends,
I don't know about you but for me, magnetic plate never go at the good place on the the magntic base. Actually it goes if i am attentive. But I am usually not.
So, when I installed the magnetic plate on my FLSun SR, directly and not on the glass plate (I removed it), I designed this very, very, very technical piece : a wedge. :)
First I only designed the one that was 3mm over the base. So I only have to push the magnetic part until it hits the wedge. No problem. That works.
But I realized that the lower part was a good isolation part and was keeping the warm. So I decided to make another piece only to keep the warm. So now I have one piece of 12mm high to block the magnetic plate and two pieces of 9mm high to complete the circle. It was be possible to entirely close the circle but I prefered to let a small part opened between the pieces to avoid any excessive overwarming.
The final result, as you can see on the picture is the 12mm high piece in the back and two 9mm pieces each side.
It is useful to make a bed PID after installation.
For printing, no support, no brim, no raft. I used 0,3mm layer at a very fast 200mm. The print is not perfect but it works.
Bonjour chez vous
